BJ is about the same this morning. They have decided to leave him on his tummy for at least 20 hours. He has had some bleeding from around the neck catheter. They had it stopped a couple times, but then doing x-rays or other routine procedures starts it again.

He continues to need blood products, and his temp remains low, so he still has the "Bair Hug" (yes that is the correct spelling) over him, around him...it really looks like 2 people are in that bed. As long as it works!

I don't know of any procedures today...that will be nice.

His Sat's (blood oxygenation percentage) remain in the 90's, and his other gases are stable for now.

Lord Jesus, we look to You for a healing time, for the swelling to go down, for the bleeding to stop, and for the staff to be encouraged spiritually, and mentally, today.

BJ's dad

keep leaving your name, city, state or country info, please. Especially first time bloggers, as we are creating a map for Beej to see. Thanks

Hey gang -

We're praying this morning for continued rest for BJ, for bleeding to stop being an issue, for continued draining, and for the medical staff.

We keep thinking of Jayden's parents...they are in our prayers, as well.

Please, please, please have a quiet uneventful day.

1 Blessed is he who has regard for the weak;
the LORD delivers him in times of trouble.
2 The LORD will protect him and preserve his life;
he will bless him in the land
and not surrender him to the desire of his foes.

3 The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed
and restore him from his bed of illness.

Lord God, yet another day we come before your throne for our brother BJ. We pray collectively as the Body of Christ that you heal our dear brother BJ. Please surround BJ and his family with a renewed sense of your peace and healing power. Touch his kidneys and bring new life to them. Protect BJ from any further complications this day. Show those of us who love him how we may be of service and support to the family. We claim complete and total victory over the evil one without exception. In the name of Yahshua, Jesus, our Lord and Savior we pray....Amen

May the words of this hymn minister to you all this morning...we love you..Phil & Paula

Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come,
Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heaven and home,
When Jesus is my portion? My constant friend is He:
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

"Let not your heart be troubled," His tender word I hear,
And resting on His goodness, I lose my doubts and fears;
Though by the path He leadeth, but one step I may see;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

I sing because I'm happy,
I sing because I'm free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.

Whenever I am tempted, whenever clouds arise,
When songs give place to sighing, when hope within me dies,
I draw the closer to Him, from care He sets me free;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

I sing because I'm happy,
I sing because I'm free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.

Lord Jesus, I love You. I thank You for a day without procedures for BJ. I thank You for Your awesome grace. Lord, I pray that You would wrap Your arms of love around BJ and his family. Continue to strengthen and encourage them. Father, we have seen so many miracles throughout the last month, and we know that You are working! We will continue to give You all the praise and glory for Your awesome works! Amen.

I see the first comment on this page (from a spammer) and my first thought is, "how crass!" But, then the Lord reminds me that this is just evidence of a world full of people who need to know Him and His love.

Ouch. Don't you just love it when God does that? God's reminder to me makes me think of BJ and his heart for the lost. Perhaps even this web site will bring people to the Lord!! GO GOD!!!

Still praying...

Be Still and Know - Stephen Curtis Chapman

Be still and know that He is God
Be still and know that He is holy
Be still, O restless soul of mine
Bow before the Prince of peace
Let the noise and clamor cease
Be still

Be still and know that He is God
Be still and know that He is faithful
Consider all that he has done
Stand in awe and be amazed
And know that He will never change
Be still

Be still and know that he is God
Be still and know he is our Father
Come rest your head upon his breast
Listen to the rhythm of his unfailing heart of love
Beating for His little ones
Calling each of us to come
Be still

Our God is an awesome God he reigns from heaven above with wisdom, power, and love our God is an awesome God

We sang that song last night at BCM and it just reminded me so much that our God is awesome. He has ultimate wisdom and power over everything. Everything is in his hands, including BJ. He loves us unconditionally, even though we are all sinners; he desires an intimate relationship with us. BJ has that...

Still praying for y'all and the medical staff! I ordered a prayforbj.com t-shirt last night... A pink one (in honor of BJ ô¿ô)!! Y'all can add Ponce De Leon, FL to your map... its a little west of Panama City. I have a friend who has gotten her family and church and friends she has there praying for y'all!

Lord - it seems you have set aside today for rest - for all involved. We pray those kidneys will begin responding as they should, and that the bleeding around the catheter will not occur during future procedures.

Give the medical personnel enlightenment today as they plan their next steps toward BJ's recovery. We are so grateful for their skills and devotion - help them to feel Your presence today.

Hang in there...I spent 11 days in the hospital last year for ruptured appendicts, and some complications, and God used that time to draw me closer to him than ever before. I experienced dreams of Heaven, Jesus and God really spoke to me. It turned out to be one of the greatest experiences in my life...except for the food!! God is totally in control, and He is awesome!

Nothing is too difficult for You.
Please allow BJ to arise to a life of power and praise in abandoned
relation to You. Grant life without fear of death nor fear of man for the earth-side privilege of
leading people to You through Christ Jesus the Lord.
