The surgeons have successfully finished on BJ's left femural vein, without having to go into his abdomen! Praise God! However, his jugular artery is not in usable condition for his CVVH catheter to be placed there... so tomorrow they will do another procedure to hook him up to the kidney machine. They are now working on removing the cannulae in his right leg.

Thank you for praying us through this!!

Woohoo! Praise God they didn't have to do the high-risk surgery in his abdomen.

God's still in the 'miracle business'.

Praying with all my heart for both BJ and Jayden. Thank you Lord Jesus for your direction and wisdom, for all medical staff involved and ask that your hands be in control of theirs, for peace and comfort for both families as they wait in you strength. You are a mighty God we serve and we thank you for being ever present with your children.

Just wanted to let you know that Nate and I are praying for BJ. Thanks for keeping us poted so regularly... I keep checking to make sure things are going well.
Praying that you will all feel His presence very closely this evening. Room 2001 at St. Vincent's hospital is a shining light for HIM!
Please tell Jayden's mommy and daddy that we are praying for them too!
Love you loads.

Praying for you, checking the updates regularly and even though Im thousands of miles away and have never met BJ, I am so nervous! But trusting God and hoping... Then I think of you and how much greater your hopes, fears and worries are!

May God give you a double portion of His strength in this moment.

Thank you Father for your mercies!

You are the Alpha and Omega, knowing all that we need, when we need it. Father, may you be glorified in all that is going on today at the hospital and in the hearts of all who are connected through this crisis.

Father, lay your hands on both BJ and Jayden. I pray for both families and ask that you would give them comfort and strength in a time that no one else could.

You have told us to love one another, there are no strangers among us. Jayden and his family tug at our hearts just as BJ does.

Please continue to lead and guide through the remainder of BJ's procedures and thank you for all you have done so far this day.

We love you Father, and have the desire to abide in Your Will in both of these situations.

We will keep praying...
Much love to you all.
