We are being told that BJ's surgery may begin a little later than 3PM, and will last maybe 3 to 5 hours. Potential complications will be bleeding, clotting, and if fungus is adhering to the canula, then moving them could spread it into his bloodstream causing him to be sicker. He is on anti-fungal meds. He will be taken off of the Cvvh machine at 2PM. Thank you for lifting him up at this critical time.

I need to give you an update on Jayden, age 2. He has been on ECMO a little over 2 weeks now. They are getting ready to take him off of ECMO. The family is being gathered as we speak, and they are being told he will not make it off of ECMO due to complications. Tabby and Mark (mom and dad) and their family have been part of our support network here. Please lift them up. They have seen the miracles God has worked in BJ, and are trying to cling to hope. Please pray...Their family walks thru the hospital wearing PRAYFORBJ.COM t-shirts. We love them and don't want them to lose Jayden.

Thank You so much,

BJ's dad

Words are inadequate to convey our feelings of compassion for Jayden's family. Father, show them Your peace...the comfort of Your presence. And continue to sustain Brent, Deanna and the girls. Show us ways to encourage them...to love them. In Jesus' Name, Amen

Katie and I just prayed for Jayden and Bj. Please communicate to Jayden's parents that we are praying for them. I regret that we didn't talk with them more when we were there. I am also praying for you as you potentially help them through a difficult time. My heart cries out for them and you. I am praying for a miraculous presence of God in the room while the surgery is going. So that every MD, therapist, nurse and person will know that Bj is God's.

My heart breaks for Jayden's family, as they await with uncertainty, his fate. I pray, Lord, that they be lifted up, feeling your arms wrap around them, comforting them and giving them peace and hope, regardless of the outcome. I pray their faith would be strengthened through this and that above all, that You, Father, would be glorified. Amen.

To Jayden's family... what a blessing of God a child is. I am lifting him and you up in prayer. May our amazing Father comfort you and strengthen each of you in this time of trial. I cannot imagine being in your shoes.

Surely it is a testimony of the faith of you and the many praying for you that we are at this point. May God continue to use you, BJ, and your family to reveal the glory of Himself. May He stengthen and revitalize you as you prepare to undergo yet another surgery and trial on your body. May God receive all of the glory in victory.

Each of you truly may be called faithful. May you continue to be a vessel of the Father's love.

Lord Jesus, as we pray for BJ, we also pray for Jayden. Father, You know what this little boy needs. Please wash over him with Your peace. Please anoint the doctors with wisdom as they make decisions for Jayden's body. Lord, wrap Jayden's parents in Your loving arms - so tightly that they can feel Your physical touch! Strengthen them and encourage them, I pray. Lord, You are mighty! Thank You for all You've done for these families and these two boys. I praise You and thank You in Jesus' name. Amen.

We will be lifting up the Doctors, you all, and BJ this afternoon as the procedures begin.
We are praying that no complications will arise and that God will grant wisdom and skill to the Doctors as they proceed. I am claiming 2 Chronicles 16:9, "The eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him." for you all.

We know that you are God and that you have the power to do anything--more than we can imagine. We have seen how you have sustained BJ even when there were times that the doctors were losing hope. I pray that as little Jayden is removed from the ECMO that you will perform a miracle for his family. I pray that through this time that they will get to know you if they haven't already. I pray that as BJ goes through this surgery that the doctors will have wisdom and understanding of what is best for him. I pray that you will allow the surgery to be 100% successful. God we know that you are good and that you have our best interest in mind because you say "I know the plans I have for you plans to prosper and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future."

Lord we lift up both families to you. We ask that You would spare the life of this precious little boy, if it be Your will Lord. Bring comfort and peace to his mommy and daddy.
For Bj Lord we ask that again we will see Your divine healing hand at work, for peace and comfort and endurance for his family, guidance and wisdom for all the staff who will be in with Bj during the surgery. We thank You Lord for ALL You have done and wait excepting another good report.

Please let Jayden's family know that we stand with them in prayer, feeling their pain as they walk through this most difficult time in their life.
We love you all

It is so neat to see that you are reaching out to others in their time of need. Lord, please be with both families during this crisis time. Put your loving arms around all of them and give them peace. May they be a source of comfort and peace to each other. Lord, please be with the doctors and staff as they have to be weary as well and give them the wisdom they need to take care of these 2 very special young people. Above all else, we want your will to be done and you tell us reveal to you what is on our hearts. Our desire is that both BJ and Jayden may live long lives to serve you and we also realize Lord that your perfect will is so much better than our wants and we trust you to bring us through to the other side in victory in Jesus. Peace for all of you as we continue to lift everyone up during the next few hours.
Yours in Christ,

Praying for BJ and little Jayden and both of your families, and the staff there.
Our God who is the Creator of all life is the one who is in control. Remember how it was with Job. He told satan he could do what he liked but he could NOT take his life. So please remember because Our God is the author of life and death He and ONLY He can give or take a life. Who knows the mind of God? I wish you could know my heart right now!! I wish I could be there with you as this procedure approaches but am sure you have support there. I will be going to the Father non stop asking for proctection for BJ as well as Jayden and family. BJ walks with God and could NOT be in better hands.......
"Because He lives...I can face tomorrow...because He lives...all fear is gone......becasue I know He holds the future....I can face uncertain days because HE live!!!
Our love and prayers go with you....Phil & Paula

I have just talked to your pastor about visiting fbc Mooresville and found out about BJ. My heart goes out to you and your family. I am praying right now that God's hand is on the surgeon's hands as the do the procedure!
Lord, Please guide the hands as they move to heal! give a sense of your presence in the room as you bring healing, calm and peace. Father, we don't understand why you would allow this, but I pray that you will get the glory and honor out of it! Lord Jesus, I ask that you comfort mom and dad in a way no one else can. Just be there Father, please. We love you and praise for the young devoted life you have in your hands!

Lyrics that Aunt Maralyn mentioned in the previous post

His Eye Is On The Sparrow

Why should I feel discouraged
Why should the shadows come
Why should my heart feel lonely
And long for heaven and home?
When jesus is my portion
My constant friend
Is he
His eye is on the sparrow
I know he watches me
His eye is on the sparrow
I know he watches me

I sing because I’m happy
I sing because I’m free
His eye is on the sparrow
I know he watches me
His eye, his eye is on the sparrow
I know he watches
I know he watches
I know he watches me

I sing because I’m happy
I sing because I’m free
His eye is on the sparrow
I know, I know, I know he watches over
He watches over me

Praying hard for the success of BJ's surgery. Praying that the infection will not spread and be controlled by the meds. Continuing to pray that BJ's body continues to heal and restore itself. Will say a special prayer for Jayden's family, what a heartbreak. God has worked several miracles in BJ's life, will pray a miracle will happen with Jayden's life. Thinking and praying for all of you. Love you guys.
