We are off to spend a couple of days with A.S. Missions staff. We will be discussing our future. I ask you to please seek the Lord, that He would lead us, and direct us in His plan and will.

We will not likely be writing until we return (Saturday pm), but as always are praying for the requests you have listed.

We have appreciated your prayer support on this journey, and we are now looking to see if the Lord would move us in this new direction.

We are speaking at a Christian School to junior and senior high students on Friday morning. Please pray that the Lord's words will be heard. We only desire to serve Him, and to bring glory to His Name.

A crucial meeting regarding the book on BJ also happens Friday morning, if you would please lift that up as well.

Be blessed in Him!

Serving the King beside you,

brent (dad)

Welcome home Lattany! Please write about your trip as soon as you can!

Praying for your trip and for you, as you seek to discern what is God's perfect will for you and your family.

I will be sure to write about my trip and share it with you, but for now, I've got to share one story. I wore my "prayforbj.com" tshirt on the last day of the trip -- the day that was actually 40 hours long, because we were flying home, spending a collective twenty-two hours in the air! This, of course, meant several airports. Many on my team already knew of BJ as I've spoken of him before and those who didn't asked. I had the privilege of telling his story over and over again to my teammates, and then to several people in the airport who inquired about my shirt. I smiled to see, once again, how BJ's legacy is impacting our world -- here I am in an airport in Thailand, sharing a dramatic story of love, sacrifice and the great Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

"For I know the plans I have for you, "declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 Please know Brent and Deanna, that we are praying for you. I felt your pain yesterday and it reminded me of a time when I was seeking Gods plans for my own future. It would be so much easier if he would just hit us with that big old hammer, once for yes and twice for no! When he answers you, you will feel that wonderful peace only he can give.
I pray that for you both.
Be safe, MJR

I sat in the audience at Mingo Valley Christian School when you presented the story of your son, BJ Higgins. I can affirm first-hand that this message had a vast effect on our school. I hear fellow students talking about the example he set, and how this should lead to us following the ultimate example: Jesus Christ, who demonstrated the ultimate love, the ultimate sacrifice, by dying and shedding blood on the cross.

I want to thank you personally for coming down to speak and encourage you by explaining how this has effected our school. I (as well as many other fellow-students) fell speechless for hours after hearing the story of BJ. I pray that God will use you to continue spreading the message of Christ's calling by using the example BJ set.

Thank you,
Drue Bayless
