Believers, I want you to know how integral you are to this process. I just went back into his room, and his SAT's were up to 90 (after dropping into the low and mid 70's). I said, "wow, that's a dramatic difference, what did you do?" The nurse said, "nothing"..."we turned the pressure up a little."

There is no doubt in my mind it is your prayer that is making the difference. I cannot thank you enough. Whatever my God has in store for my son, it must involve you all, at least it does right now. I appreciate your diligence...your knees must be getting sore. Deanna and I are forever grateful to a body of believers, worldwide that are ignoring denominational boundaries, and doctrinal issues, and just lifting a brother up who desperately needs their prayers!!!

Praise Jesus for another victory, truly...the battle belongs to the Lord!

The Battle Belongs to the Lord - Petra

In heavenly armour we'll enter the land
The battle belongs to the Lord
No weapon that's fashioned against us shall stand
The battle belongs to the Lord

We sing glory and honor
Power and strength to the Lord
(repeat)

The power of darkness comes in like a flood
The battle belongs to the Lord
He's raised up a standard, the power of His blood
The battle belongs to the Lord

When your enemy presses in hard do not fear
The battle belongs to the Lord
Take courage my friend, your redemption is near
The battle belongs to the Lord

Victory In Jesus.....we ARE truly family !!!! We will continue to pray without ceasing for BJ and the whole family. Do you know how much you are loved?? There are so many things we take for granted in this world but through BJ's ordeal our eyes have been opened. No one connected with this can go forward living their lives as before. We are now connected at the hip and I believe with all my heart Jesus is going to use BJ in a new and mighty way that none of us would have ever imagined before.......

I heard about His healing,
Of His cleansing pow'r revealing.
How He made the lame to walk again
And caused the blind to see;
And then I cried, "Dear Jesus,
Come and heal my broken spirit,"
And somehow Jesus came and bro't
To me the victory.

O victory in Jesus,
My Savior, forever.
He sought me and bought me
With His redeeming blood;
He loved me ere I knew Him
And all my love is due Him,
He plunged me to victory,
Beneath the cleansing flood.

We are right there with you in the room....do you sense our spirits?
Catch a hug....here it comes{{{{{{{{Hug}}}}}}}}}}}}}....We love you...Phil and Paula

May we give all thanks to our God. I continue to pray for all of you. As I sit here tonight trying to find words to offer to you I am continually interrupted by my two young sons. I asked them for a moment so I could complete a single thought but they persist. I have to stop now and think how lucky I am that I am home - able to speak to and hold (and get frustrated) with my sons. Deanna and Brent can't do that - only sparingly. The Lord humbles me and brings me back to Him to be thankful and grateful in all that I take for granted. So as you thank all of the many prayer warriors I know I want to thank you and our all powerful Lord for teaching me again each and everyday that there is a higher power - and that I must bow down. May you continue to be lifted up, and find peace and comfort in the body of Christ.

Praising our glorious God,

What an awesome, loving and faithful God we serve. We praise Your holy name Lord.
Higgin's family I just want you to know that I find it a priviledge to be able to pray for BJ and his family. The Lord continues to place a heavy burden within my heart for all of you and for BJ's healing and I am just another servant of the Lord, listening to and doing my best to obey the Lord.
Isn't it so wonderful to see the body of Christ come together, regardless of denomination, I feel it's just a small glimpse of what we have to look forward to once we reach "home".
Continuing to lift you all up to our "Daddy". May His peace flood you, His love emcompass you, and His arms surround you.

Just got home from being in classes all day. Even though I was away from updates, you were on my mind and in my prayers. I'm glad to hear that BJ's numbers are going up again. I'm holding on with you concerning the bleeding and other issues. God is in control, and BJ belongs to Him. I'm praying for you, Brent, Deanna, Lauren, and Whitney, that God will continue to sustain you during these long days of waiting. May you know His peace and rest in the midst of the storm.

I'm getting ready to leave the country on Thursday night to go to our Global Partners European Missionary conference that will be held this year in Velden, Austria. While there, I will be looking for someone with a wireless connection or an internet cafe or something to keep up with what's going on with BJ. I'll be back on Tuesday the 20th. But rest assured that I will solicit the prayer support of all my fellow missionaries from the countries across Europe to be praying for BJ and for all of you. That means people serving in Albania, Austria, Bosnia, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, Germany, Kosovo, Macedonia, Russia, and Sweden. (Some of them already know about BJ and have posted on this blog.)

By the way, the Strongs who posted from Bolivia earlier today are friends of mine from my days of working at WGM.

I love you all. You are constantly in my thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Becky

We pray in response to the needs of the hour and in focused prolonged prayer efforts and chains. Because we know that prayer changes not only circumstances but also the ones who do the praying!

Prayer expands our capacity to love and to live for God.

Prayer shapes and changes human history.

In praying together with and for one another we will become better equipped to serve and build together. We will be faithful to our mission and pray. We know that we will see the wonders of God unfold.

"Prayer is the most powerful weapon a Christian has. Prayer makes us effective. Prayer makes us happy. Prayer gives us all the strength that we need to fulfill God's commands. Yes, indeed, your whole life can and should be prayer."
Saint Josemaria Escriva

Dear Family of BJ,
A group of 4 pastors, 2 music ministers, and 1 director of missions in Hannibal, MO lifted up BJ in our prayer meeting today. We continued to ask God for a miracle and full healing for BJ. We also asked Him to glorify His name through BJ in whatever way He saw fit to do this. I personally have been challenged by the things you have shared from BJ's journal. He has been used tremendously by our Father. I can not tell you how he has impacted by daughter Michelle who served with BJ in Peru in 2004. We continue to ask for God's touch on BJ and your family. I remind you to consider Isaiah 31 verses 10 and 13. Milton Baumgardner

God led me this morning to pray specifically that BJ would be awake enough for you to communicate with him! God cares for you guys so much--I know that's why He's leading all of us to pray.

We are constantly praying for strength for you all.
