Bj's blood pressure is falling, his heart rate is rising, and they are trying to find a new place to get a good read for his SAT. The Dr. believes his lactic acid has risen due to no renal function, and may be causing this. They are starting Sodium bi-carb, and fluids to try to resolve this. They may have to restart dialysis early.

Lord, please intervene.

Im praying hard..

I've been thinking a lot about all the things that BJ and I have gone through together, all of our memories and stuff.. I have to say, the one thing that sticks out is when he and I were sitting in a sunday school room upstairs at northside, and we read James together...and then we prayed about being Men of God...not just children anymore.

God loves all the people who follow after his heart, and BJ is one of those men. God will take care of him, trust that.

I will continue to keep BJ, as well as your family in my prayers. Your continuous faith in this situation has been such an encouragement to me in my walk with the Lord.
"You are my hiding place, you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance."
-Psalm 32:7, this verse has always been dear to my heart so I thought I would share it.

Continuing to pray that the Lord would stablize BJ. I lead a small group of high school girls - tonight we talked about BJ and what a challenge he was to us in our walk with the Lord. As we pray we know that God is still in control.

Dear Lord,

Please restore BJ's blood pressure to a healthy level, and slow his heart rate, as well.

Please intervene and stabilize him. Through it all, tuck your strong arms around him and hold him close. Kiss the top of his head and tuck him under your chin. As no one else can, you can reach him with your comfort and warmth. Thank you, Jesus, that you care so very much about BJ. You even love him better than any of us do!

Please comfort Brent and Deanna. Love them personally, touch them supernaturally with your heavenly love. Thank you for sharing them with all of us. They are great teachers! We pray you have mercy on them . . . grant them rest and restoration.

Dear Jesus - rally your saints to petition on behalf of BJ and the Higgins.

Please comfort Whitney and Lauren. They suffer their own anxieties and stresses. Continually show them how wonderful they are in You, and hold them up through their routines, and the stresses of having their brother go through such physical trauma.

Thank you for your personal, fervent, and unending care.

Praying all through the night. . .please bring BJ through this trial, Lord. Use his weakness to show Your mighty power. May Your glory shine brightly in and around room 2001 tonight as so many are awake (and keep us awake/wake us up, oh God) praying for BJ and this family. We love You, God, and thank you for the privilege of bearing one another's burdens,

We are still praying. Lord- we pray that you would intervene in a mighty powerful way tonight. We pray your Hand would heal BJ and that he would take a turn for the better. We know Lord, that your will may not be our will, and we accept that. We are praying at the feet of your Son, and we pray that Your plan is to heal BJ down here on Earth. We do know Lord, that if you don't heal him on Earth, that you will heal him in Heaven. Please lift this family up in Your loving arms and comfort them. Give them encouragement, the kind that only comes from you Lord. We rest in knowing that BJ loves You, Lord and that he is in Your hands. That is the perfect place to be. May BJ's life and his illness be a glorification to you Lord. Amen.

We sang this song during worship this morning and I my thoughts were for all of you.
Blessed Be Your Name
Every blessing you pour out
I'll turn back to praise
And when the darkness closes in Lord, still I will say
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be your glorious name

You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord Blessed be Your name

Merciful God, we continue to pray for BJ's complete recovery (on earth or heaven, Lord?)
Thank you Jesus,

Brent,
We continue to pray hard with great intensity for your family and B.J. You all have been on our inds constantly through this weekend!
Like many others I received my shirt yesterday and wore it to Church this morning and this evening. As you know, I am NOT one to wear "pink", but in supporty of B.J. and your family, I ordered the one color that you wouldn't think.....Yes, it is PINK! (There aren't many I would do this for). But I am a PROUD sponsor of the PINK TEAM!
So displaying my pink shirt proudly I pray even harder, for B.J.'s health! May our Lord's Will be done. I also pray for the Lord to renew your strength, allowing you to have a restful night, and for Beej to rest well too. I pray that our Lord provides the Doctors and Nurses the wisdom and knowledge they need to help B.J. through these times.
YOUR PROUD PINK FRIEND!
Matt Littell
P.S. If the Pink Panther can be cool in Pink.....Hey, So can I!

Dear Jesus,
Our hearts are heavy tonight with the latest news of BJ. This balancing act has been hard to bear and discouraging news seems to follow suit to an encouraging day. We know you are in control, Father, we know you are working... and we are grateful for that. Forgive us when we become frustrated and question!
Jesus, be with BJ in a powerful way tonight. Lower his blood pressure, raise is SATs, allow his kidneys to start working for themselves. Father, we yearn to be with BJ again. To hear his voice, to have him at band practice, and just joke around with him again. Be with Brent, Deanna, Lauren, and Whitney tonight, Father, for we know that their yearning far surpasses ours. Comfort them and hold them close in your loving arms. Give them peace. Give them encouragement. Give them strength, Father, for they have been through SO much.
Jesus, please work in this situation. We are asking for a miracle, again, and are so grateful that we can approach your throne with our heavy hearts. Lord, please hear our prayer. Amen.

We love you guys... so much! We haven't quit praying and we won't.
Hoping you feel Sonshine in a special way tonight.
All our love and prayers,
Nate and Amy

Dear Higgins Family,

I turned in a prayer request at church today for our Elders, Deacons, and our prayer team. We also prayed for BJ tonight at our C-Group.

I am praying tonight for the specifics you have listed and also praying for your peace and rest in the Lord.

Thank you for your example to all of us. You have handled this trial with such grace. You have shown us how to give God glory in the midst of great difficulty. Without ever having met BJ my life has been changed. I have never prayed so hard or consistantly in my life. Thank you for allowing us the privilage and opportunity to pray for all of you and see God work. It has been a most amazing journey. My heart aches for you that it has meant suffering and hardship to you all personally but God is bringing good out of it. In God's economy suffering is not wasted. The Body of Christ is being built up and unified and I know there are others who have been drawn into a closer relationship with our wonderful Lord. You are loved.

I will continue to lift you up to the Father...He is so proud of you, Beej...
