Good afternoon,

BJ continues to remain stable with stats that are pretty good. His bleeding returned with the restart of heprin (to thin his blood). They are giving him "intense support" to try and get through this.

There are no other real changes at this juncture.

Jayden, 2yrs old, that some of you have been lifting up is being moved to ecmo today. Please conitnue to lift him up...he is sooo precious, and fighting for his life.

Another precious child fighting a difficult battle is Shelby K. Her parents and church family have been such an encouragement to us. Please lift them up as well. She is a 2 1/2 yr. old twin and is surrounded by much love and support.

Thank you family of Christ across the world for returning to this site, and for your stubbornness in prayer. We are so blessed to have you standing in the gap for us!

Hi precious family,
Our prayers are continual, like thousands of others. Wow, what a great God we serve. It's wonderful to know that you know so many people are with you and BJ, because of our common bond with Jesus. We love you!

We are still praying and are excited to see what God is doing through BJ's life! His online journal was such an encouragement! Thank you for keeping us updated on how we can pray. Stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might!
In His love,
Jessica

Brent & Deanna - I just wanted you all to know that I made up a flyer asking for prayer for BJ & put it in every staff member's box here at school - I teach at Northwood, right next to First Baptist. :) So count on Northwood staff to be praying for BJ, too! We love you all - the little ones are in my prayers as well. Your ability to look at others' needs right now is a true testimony to Jesus Christ.

Love

Hands!

A basketball in my hands is worth about $19.

A basketball in Michael Jordan's hands is worth about $33 million.

It depends whose hands it's in.

A baseball in my hands is worth about $6.

A baseball in Mark McGuire's hands is worth $19 million.

It depends on whose hands it's in.

A tennis racket is useless in my hands.

A tennis racket in Venus Williams' hands is a championship winning.

It depends whose hands it's in.

A rod in my hands will keep away a wild animal.

A rod in Moses' hands will part the mighty sea.

It depends whose hands it's in.

A sling shot in my hands is a kid's toy

A sling shot in David's hand is a mighty weapon.

It depends whose hands it's in.

Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in my hands is a couple of fish sandwiches

Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in God's hands will feed thousands.

It depends whose hands it's in.

Nails in my hands might produce a birdhouse.

Nails in Jesus Christ's hands will

produce salvation for the entire world.

It depends whose hands it's in.

As you see now it depends on whose hands it's in.

So put your concerns, your worries, your fears, your hopes, your dreams, your families and your relationships in God's hands because...

It depends whose hands it's in

I am really excited to hear of how he is getting better, rejoice about that. I do know we have a long road ahead, but with the power of prayer it seems like that road is getting shorter and shorter.

God has some amazing plans.

Hi, it's me again!

You don't know me, but I know Cousin Becky. Our family has been in crisis before (although nothing of this proportion). Through that time, I learned the value of Christian brothers and sisters letting me know that I *continued* to be in their thoughts and prayers!

All this to say...I check on you and pray for all of you *daily*. BJ's site is in my bookmarks and I will continue with you until we all see God resolve this situation for His glory.

We are so glad to hear of BJ's continuing improvement. Even tho he is about the same, but still stable, we know God is still hearing the prayers of His people. Rest assured that we are among those many who continue to pray for him and for your loving family. PTL He is still in control.

Brent, Deanna, BJ, Lauren & Whitney-
We have been thinking of you all day, my girls keep tabs on how BJ is doing. Saw Larry at church and got a quick update. We will be praying for the bleeding to subside or at least be controlled.
Still praying to avoid infections and for continued clearing of the lungs. God is answering many prayers right now. We will definitely include Jayden and Shelby in our prayers now. Take care of yourselves and let us know if there is anything else we can do to make this easier for you.

Love,
Nancy

Job 42:5 says
I have heard of You by the hearing of my ear, but now my eye sees You.

Watch carefully, for God is working!

Dear Higgins family,
I cannot tell you how much your son has blessed me. From just spending one month with him I can see God that he is all about God and 100% for real. I truely believe that you would not even have to be around him for a whole minute to tell his passion for his Lord and Savior. I am praying for your whole family as well as my church family and friends.I love you all very much.

Walker Moore asked us to pray tonight at a meeting of over 70 chaplains. We lifted B.J. up before the Lord and will continue to pray. God is good and will see B.J. and his family through this time in His timing and in His way. May God bless you and your family.

Dear Higgins family,
I was with BJ last summer on his first mission trip to Peru. He truly amazed me because though he was so young, he behaved and was such a strong man of God even at 13. I remember hoping and praying that my 10 year old brother could be just like that once he was 13. Not only is he a great friend always encouraging me to never let my armor down but also a dear Brother in the Lord whose consistent emails and online updates encouraged me to remain evermore focused on the Lord's work once we got back to the States and our hometowns. I just wanted to let you know that God is faithful especially to those who serve him faithfully just like what your son has done. Take comfort and strength in the Lord. Thank you so much for keeping us all updated on his condition. My family and I are praying for his healing daily!
In Jesus love,
Hannah DeGuzman

I continue to pray for BJ and have asked my friends from college -- all the way in the middle of nowhere, SD -- to pray for him.

So today I was really encouraged during my quiet time and instantly thought of your family and especially BJ, who I know is definitely in God's will.

"When you obey and things get worse, start praising God, because God is about to reveal or do something far beyond what you can imagine! You may be right at the center of God's will when things get worse."

Wow! What else can I say?! I knew God was up to something big, but this was just a great reminder.
