BJ spent 5 weeks on a mission trip in Peru spreading the love of Jesus. A few weeks after returning home he was diagnosed with pneumonia, which quickly turned much more serious and became the lesser concern as an infection throughout his body was discovered. After six weeks of fighting, Beej finally got to go Home to be with Jesus on September 26th, 2005. Thank you for your prayers for BJ, and please continue unifying as God's children as we have seen throughout this God-glorifying situation!!! BJ we have heard of your triumphs and success and we have heard of your troubles and sickness and it brings us joy to see that in all of these the common end is the glory of your God. You haven't chosen what God have given to you and taken from you, but your heart continues to say "Blessed be His name." It is this focus that will sustain you during this time and keep you until your Father takes you home. Though in different ways, many here are suffering with you for the sake of our Lord. "For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows." 2 Corinthians 1:5 our comfort is in Him and His love for us. Psalms 62:3,4 Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.
This life is so short little brother, so bless Him as long as you live.
Let your joy in suffering show this world where you find satisfactioin.
We continue to pray for you the family and friends. We may not see you here but we are only a vapor away from eternity together with our God and King. May grace and peace abound.

Father God we lift up the higgins family to you Lord, We pray for comfort, strength and a complete healing of our brother BJ. God we ask that you that you alone God will heal his body, he has infection, God stop that infection, his kidneys and lungs are not working properly, God we ask that you will make them work. God we know that you are faithful and we know that you know whats instore for the higgins family, Lord we ask that you will heal BJ completely and quickly. He has alot of witnessing still to do. We love you father and we pray this in Jesus' precious name, Amen.
Lord, Please heal him if this is your plan. We just ask for a miracle this morning.
Praying for you guys so hard right now. We will tell the HLG campus to pray for him. We all hurt when we see that our brother, BJ is hurting. We will continue to pray for you guys for strength. We just pray that God will bring BJ through this.

I've been praying ever since Aunt Maralyn called this morning. I've alerted my prayer partners here at seminary and around the world to lift you all up to our heavenly Father. My family in Christ - when you feel pain we feel pain! The body is WITH YOU as we intercede on BJ's behalf! God loves BJ far more than we could ever even fathom loving him - May the Lord's PERFECT will be done!
May His will be done and His name glorified in this situation. When you do not know how to pray any more or do not have words to express your hearts, remember that the Holy Spirit is so very busy RIGHT THIS MOMENT interceding on BJ's behalf!
