The surgeons have successfully finished on BJ's left femural vein, without having to go into his abdomen! Praise God! However, his jugular artery is not in usable condition for his CVVH catheter to be placed there... so tomorrow they will do another procedure to hook him up to the kidney machine. They are now working on removing the cannulae in his right leg.

Thank you for praying us through this!!

Lauren

Praying that you will all feel His presence very closely this evening. Room 2001 at St. Vincent's hospital is a shining light for HIM!

Praying for you, checking the updates regularly and even though Im thousands of miles away and have never met BJ, I am so nervous! But trusting God and hoping... Then I think of you and how much greater your hopes, fears and worries are!

May God give you a double portion of His strength in this moment.
