Hey guys, just a quick update: When I left the hospital tonight, BJ's oxygen level was back and forth between 88-89%!
Please be praying specifically for my parents (Brent & Deanna) and Whitney and me as we battle emotional exhaustion. As always, PRAY FOR BJ! that his lungs continue to regain strength and his oxygen levels go up! We love you guys, and hearing about your continued prayers really lift our spirits. Churches and people all over our country and the WORLD are praying for BJ! This would make BJ ecstatic - unity among God's people! -Lauren

As I've written your Uncle Brad, our tears are mingling with all of yours. We are constantly praying, our church is praying, and we've asked many other friends and churches to pray, even to family who are missionaries in Africa.
Dennis has been doing a study on Wed. nights on Jesus' miracles in the Gospel of John. Recently he talked about the resurrection of Lazarus. That has been on my mind much since hearing about BJ. I strongly feel that Jesus has not forsaken BJ. Maybe like in the story of Lazarus, He is waiting so that God might receive even greater glory. In John 11:3 (NLT), Jesus says, "Lazarus's sickness will not end in death. No, it is for the glory of God. I, the Son of God, will receive glory from this." I claim that for BJ. Only God really knows what healing will mean for BJ, but it is so good to know we can trust Him.
I've been reminded again of the wonderful Godly heritage that our family has been blessed with. I believe the prayers of our parents, grandparents, and beyond are carrying on down through the generations.
We appreciate so much hearing all of your testimonies and that of BJ. What a privilege to be used by God!

Watching our children grow, serving the Lord - what a blessing!! It is always a blessing to talk with BJ and join in his enthusiasm for serving Christ - his joy is contagious!! Know that I am keeping Gene and the girls updated as to BJ's condition, and that we are praying for his quick recovery. The kinship we have in Christ is precious, and what a blessing to know the church, global, is praying to one end - for a complete recovery for BJ!! We love you guys and are sure that the name of Jesus is being lifted high!!

When I heard about the multitude of family and friends on their knees in prayer in the hospital corridor I know that God is being glorified. What a tremendous statement this makes to those who witnessed it. I continue to pray for all of you.
Just to let you know people at Brookhaven Wesleyan in Marion, In are praying for BJ. We pray that everyone involved in this healing process be lifted up including the doctors, nurses and hospital personnel. May God's touch and love be shown to all during this time.

Ever since I heard about BJ and his condition I have been praying. My husband was a missionary in Peru for 3 years. I am so encouraged by how the Lord brings a multitude of His children together. May God get all of the glory when BJ is miraculously healed! The enemy will be defeated.
