Thank you Beth for sharing from your heart and the inspiration of His message through you. I too believe that the Lord would have us surrender our all, daily. In light of these circumstances, I believe the POWER of His message is truly for all who read this, and beyond. Let Him begin by convicting our family of having our "hands too full" when He has much for us to do. Like the disciples, lets drop our nets, and follow... (BJ's family)

BJ's stats are encouraging - staying in the mid 80's and some low 90's, his blood pressure too is good. He opened one eye slowly for me this morning! That was very exciting. It's so very comforting to know he's aware, at some level.

Shelby and her parents came by to visit a few minutes ago. She is doing well, just had a check up and also taking time to visit some of the staff on this floor. She is such a doll!

Thank you again and again for your unceasing prayers. We give thanks and praise to Jesus for renewed strength.

Deanna,
Like others have stated, I get so excited because you are excited for that brief moment of "connection" with BJ. I realize there are probably times when you and Brent are really tired of posting blogs, or just don't have the energy or even know exactly what to say...so thank you for doing it anyway. Those of us who aren't in Indy feel connected to you. I really do appreciate this avenue for all of us to pray for all of you.
My prayer right now is that his stats continue to stay where they are and that God will remove the infection completely.
I always pray for God's grace and encouragement for your family.

You are God and we praise You. You are Lord and we worship you. You are Almighty Father, All creation Worships you .....Oh Worship the King all Glorious above and gratefully we sing of His Power and His Love. How can anyone who is on this journey not be on their knees in thanksgiving? Heavenly Father, we thank you for your Grace, for answering the prayers of your Body. You ARE Able more than Able to to take our dear brother, BJ, and totally restore him. My eyes fill with tears as I see your Spirit watching over BJ, as well as Deanna, Brent, Lauren and Whitney. I see you protecting them from harm. Oh Lord God if it be your will continue BJ along this road of recovery. Amaze the doctors and nurses by bringing BJ back to us quickly.

I also pray for the not mentioned needs the family must be facing day to day. Show us how we can meet those meeds Lord. Until that day comes when BJ walks out of that hospital I pray you surround him and protect him. We take authority over any further attacks that they be blocked at the door. Might all the Higgins draw strength from a Loving God who will not allow them to endure more than they can bare. May they sense our love surround them & help bring them peace...In Jesus Name
Amen.....

I had to leave the house before your first post this morning so I was thrilled to come home and find good and positive news! Praise the Lord and thank you Jesus! It is funny how reading through the comments I have begun to feel connected to so many others who blog. Sometimes it is because I have prayed a similar prayer, or like your cousin Beth, I read Streams in the Desert and often pray for all of you as I am reading. So much good is already coming out of this time of trial. God is being glorified and we are experiencing unity in the Body of Christ. It is a privilage to continue praying for all of you. Thank you for sharing your hearts and lives with all of us. We are blessed indeed.

In His love,

Praise the Lord! Thank you Lord for drawing us near in many ways. You are faithful, even we are not or even when we arejust plain tired. Help us to be like Abram when the Lord said "GO" and he just went, even though he didn't know where he was going. May it be credited to us on a daily basis.

We love you and continue to join you in lifting up our Lord, in Jesus' name.

My friend Kelsey talked to me yesterday telling me that B.J. wasn't doing as well. It was so encouraging for me to get online today and see how the Lord pulled him through the night! I will pray that the Lord continues to strengthen his body to fight this infection, and that he will reveal what it is to the doctors so that they will know how best to treat it! Know that my family and I, and many others in Texas are praying for B.J. and his family!
Because Of Him,

Just a quick note to let you know we are thinking of all of you as we go about our day. I am glad BJ responded to you, Deanna. When they are so sedated like that, it is easy to lose touch with them. I read what your cousin Beth had written, pretty powerful. We struggle with that everyday in this household, surrending ourselves, giving up everything to God. That has been one of my constant prayers along with the healing of BJ. This blog site has been such a blessing, I thank you guys again for starting it. It is like a Bible Study & prayer meeting rolled into one. I pray you all are getting as much blessings from it as we are. It really is creating a unity and family of believers from across the world, pretty neat. Well, my quick note has turned into a long one, you can tell Scott is out of town, I don't have to worry about starting supper! Please take care of yourselves, we love you all and continue to pray for God's will.

Love, Nancy

Thank you, Father, God, for bringing/binding us together in ways that we don't need to understand. We look to you, as the Author and Finisher of our faith. We yield all to you, show us where to go, and what to say, we are your willing servants. Thank you for your Word, that we may build on our faith at anytime. Thank you for blessing all your children today. Thank you for an extra measure of your grace and healing touch to BJ today...(letting go, and letting God, in LV, NV.)
