His SAT's bottomed out at 80, then rose some to the mid 80's, due to increased ventilator pressure, and increased oxygen percentage on the ventilator. His blood pressure has dropped too low, and they started him on a med to increase it. The x-ray showed no air pockets. They are thinking a new infection is trying to take hold.
Lord, He is yours, please give them the wisdom to know how to combat this. What they don't know, You do, so deliver Him yet again, if it is Your will. In Jesus Name, and by His blood...

We just lift up BJ right now that the Lord will take away any possible infection that may be present and give the doctors and nurses wisdom as to what they need to do. Continually in prayer for BJ and the family thru the night.

Just posted previous note and just wanted to tell you guys that I DO know what it is like to sit and watch that SAT monitor all day and all night. I did it with my precious micro-preemie for 156 days. It is almost mesmorizing, isn't it? And, every dip down makes your stomach just tie up in knots. The frustration, the anxiety, the feeling of helplessness. Take care of yourselves and each other through this grueling journey. Not many of us can identify with what you are going through, but I definitely can. The prayers of many carried us through, even today some 18 months later the prayers of strangers still carry us. We will carry you guys now with our prayers. I pray for the doctors to make accurate diagnoses, and for strength and peace to be within all of you. The power of prayer is very very strong. We are transfering our collective strength to you, now. Even as you think you cannot put one foot in front of the other any more, we are all with you guys spiritually, as is our Heavenly Father who is the Almighty giver of strength. Hang in there!

I pray that You would fight the infection for him, heal his kidneys and lungs, and restore his blood pressure, SATs, and blood gas levels. (By the way, I just think it's so cool that they know the human body better than most other people, and that You can show them even more--the God of the universe sits down with doctors and teaches them even more about one of His creations!)

Oh Lord, we surrender to you and your will. The wisdom you have given to BJ is still with him Lord, so we pray for the future opportunities for BJ to share with the world (in person) your love, salvation , and eternal life with you. These physical hurdles are hard to comprehend, but we remain steadfast in our prayers for complete healing. We pray for answers to come from the CDC (soon) and direction for his treatment.

We know we must continue to be faithful to your timing, to your purpose and to your gracious wisdom, but we struggle today Lord. Strengthen his body to fight whatever it is that is once again attacking him. Be with his physicians, guide them and lead them toward the cause of BJ's suffering.
