BJ's body does not have the ability to fight infection right now. He does have an infection that Dr.'s cannot find. They are trying to grow cultures from blood and other fluids. They have tried to reposition him in such a way as to allow minimum stress to his lungs. His Sat's are in the 80's, his blood pressure remains low. They are pulling out any tube that he really does not need at the moment, and repositioning others.
It is crucial that this infection be knocked down. Once again, it appears to be a spiritual attack. I know you are praying. Please don't let up.

We come before you, again, asking that you deliver BJ from whatever infection is in his body. Father, give the doctors strength and perseverence as they seek to find the source of the infection and treat it.
Be close to BJ, Lord, wrap your arms around him. Protect him from the evil one! We don't know why his numbers are not stable, Father, but we pray that you would move in BJ's body and that you will increase his SAT's, his blood pressure, and lower his white blood cell count. Satan understandably views BJ as a huge threat. Not only because of his drive to see people come to know Christ, but also because of the amount of people being reached through his story and hospitalization. Of course he wants to attack him and put him down for the count.
I just got done praying that God would banish satan from room 2001 as well as the whole hospital. That he'd make it so he couldn't 'set foot anywhere on the premises'. There is a physical battle going on here, but there is also a spiritual one, I believe. Let's pray for both.

Please send your Holy Spirit to Room 2001--BJ and his family need you at this hour. Comfort them and give them strength. Please help the doctors and medical staff who are working so hard to identify this latest infection. We pray that it is found and can be trated successfully. Let BJ and his family be aware that many many are praying for them, and bring the peace that passes understanding to that hospital room.

Dear Deanna and Brent,
I just learned of BJ's illness last week and like so many others, have been a frequent visitor to this site since. My heart aches for your whole family in following all the ups and downs of the past weeks...especially here today in the midst of another valley.
Our whole family is praying for yours several times a day. I pray especially now that God would send strength: to BJ's body to fight off this infection and get his kidneys working again, and to his parents who have to stand by and watch. That the Holy Spirit who was promised to us by Jesus to comfort, would fill room 2001 and your tired hearts with peace and healing.
I return to my night shift job tonight in a different hospital laboratory across town, where I will be praying throughout the night for you all. Know that I will be taking extra special care and awareness with my work tonight with the hope that my colleagues who are working on BJ's labs and cultures will do the same.
