"BJ's oxygen saturation levels are now steady around 80%, are flirting with 81%!"
-Uncle Brad

They're rising...!!!

By the way, last night the profusionist fully expected BJ's blood to clot in the pump, it was just a matter of when. They were fully prepared to move in with a 90 second fix when BJ's unthinned blood did clot. But it didn't! The profusionist said he has never seen that before. Praise Jesus!!!

Our hearts are rejoicing with this news! We love you! Hugs from here to you!

Father, I thank you for being faithful and hearing your servent's prayers. We pray that you will continue to move in BJ, Father, that you will allow his oxygen levels to increase. We thank you that even now, BJ is a witness to your awesome power and love. Thank you for all of the lives that have been touched as a result of BJ and his commitment to you. We know that you are working through the doctors to bring glory to yourself and we are grateful. Father, we pray that you would continue to be close to Brent, Deanna, Lauren and Whitney. Please continue to lift them and give them peace and encouragement. We thank you for all that you have done and all that you continue to do. We are amazed. In your precious name we pray. Amen.

Just got to my computer. I heard about BJ for the first time yesterday at the Board of Trustee's meeting at HLG. Walker Moore shared BJ's story in our committee meeting and the full board meeting. I am praying for BJ. I will have my church begin praying for him tomorrow. May God bless you all real good!

Higgins Family,
I'm sure the perfusionist and the entire rest of the staff are seeing things they've never seen before. Praise God for He is doing what He does best. He is working outside the realm of humankind. Dare we call it miraculous? I think so!
I'll continue to pray throughout the day. Thank you so much for keeping all of us informed. Thanks Lauren for the reminder that the fight is still on for the lost.
God bless you all and those who keep vigil with you there at the hospital.

Praise the Lord. Whether He wants us here on earth or at home with Him, He is always good to His children, and He does take care of our every need. I praise God that He has brought so many in to be praying and showing love to their brother and all of you. But I praise Him even more because even if we were faithless in prayer, He would remain faithful, because that is who He is.

I'm begging the Father with you for his life. We are His children and He does hear us and we can move His heart with our prayers. I pray that we all learn to love each other, our families, and the lost with this same kind of love the Father has been teaching all of us with BJ. Thank you for sharing him and this trial with us.

Praise God!!! Last night I read through my Bible to find specific words asking for healing. The 2 verses that specifically jumped out at me and that I repeated over and over were:

Luke 8:48 (I changed daughter to son) "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace."

Luke 4:39: (again when repeating I replaced fever with infection and she with he) "So he bent over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up at once..."

Thank you God for giving us the words we need when we are lost to find our own because of our grief.

Blessings and strength be with your entire family today.

I was just preparing for SS tomorrow & reading the Psalms. Wanted to share this one with you:

"I bless God every chance I get,
my lungs expand with his praise.

I live & breathe God,
if things aren't going well, hear this & be happy.

Join me in spreading the news,
together let's get the word out.

God met me more than halfway,
he freed me from my anxious fears.

Look at him & give him your warmest smile. Never hide your feelings from him.

When I was desperate, I called out and God got me out of a tight spot.

God's angels sets up a circle of protection around us when we pray.

Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see how good God is.

Blessed are those who run to him!" Psalm 34 (The Message)

Just praying that BJ's lungs will expand with his praise again so he can continue to live & breath God! Praying too that you are feeling God's circle of angels around you! What a wonderful example Your family & BJ are & have been through this tough time!

Sending love & prayers your way!

-Anita
