A quiet night...Praise the Lord. They had to change out his CVVH machine- which they anticipated- as he isn't on blood thinners, and it occluded. This is the machine which pulls impurities out of his blood/urine. They were able to get and IV line in one of his arms.

Now we wait for Dr. Sichting to come on (8 am) and tell us the plan.

Thank you for your constant encouragement! We Praise His Name that you are consistenly with us!

Praise the Lord for a quiet night, and hopefully some rest for all of you. I'm leaving this afternoon for a women's retreat, and will bring BJ in prayer to all in attendance there. Am still praying several times a day for BJ and all of you, including the Doctors. Keep up your strength.

O God our help in ages past,
Our hope for years to come,
Be Thou our shelter in the storm,
And our eternal home.

I am praying for each in your family, the doctors, and of course BJ. Hang in there, as we all attempt to accept and learn from God's lessons in love, understanding, and patience.

Learning to Lean - John Stallings

The joy I can’t explain fills my heart,
Since the day I made Jesus my King;
His blessed Holy Spirit is leading my way,
He’s teaching and I’m learning to lean.

Chorus
I’m learning to lean, learning to lean,
Learning to lean on Jesus.
Finding more power than I’d ever dreamed,
I’m learning to lean on Jesus.

There's glorious vict'ry each day now for me,
Since I found His peace so serene;
He helps me with each task, if only I'll ask;
Ev'ry day now I'm learning to lean.

"I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." Psalm 118:17

Father,
We come to you now asking in prayer that you spare B.J.'s life. That this verse will be the cry of his heart and that he would be a wonderful witness of your miraculous healing power. We know that you know all things and with your mighty power you hold all things together. We ask that you would hold B.J.'s lungs together, that you would expand them to function properly on their own. Keep Deanna, Brent, and the girls in perfect peace. Surround them with your comfort and we especially ask for wisdom for the doctors, nurses, and everyone who will make any decision regarding B.J's care. Thank you that you are the Master Physician, that you know just what he needs and you are providing for those needs even when we don't always understand. Father we love and trust you; and we thank you that we can rest securely in the knowledge that you love each of us as much as you love yourself. For You are love and that Love never fails.

In the Holy and Magnificent Name of Jesus
Amen
