The pain of the moment is almost too much of a burden for a parent to carry. Please Lord, provide some measure of comfort for Jayden's family. Allow the Higgins' to minister to them in compassion.

Please help Brent and Deanna through this time too, Father. Allow them to minister to Jayden's family.
We don't always understand your ways, Father, but we thank you for your provisions. Amen.

We pray for Jayden's family for comfort that only the Lord can bring. Even though Jayden lived for but a brief moment compared to eternity the family will carry the memory of that sweet life for a lifetime. Lord God please bring peace to this dear family. Thank you that the Higgins are there for them. Please give them the words to speak....as only You can.

LORD,
Surround the Higgins with your love that surpasses understanding. Give them a peaceful night sleep. Give BJ a special hug from his spiritual family tonight.
Let him know how much he is loved !!
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives, all fear is gone;
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living,
Just because He lives!

And then one day, I'll cross the river,
I'll fight life's final war with pain;
And then, as death gives way to vict'ry,
I'll see the lights of glory and I'll know He lives!

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives, all fear is gone;
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living,
Just because He lives!

Welcome Home Jayden !!!

My heart breaks for little Jayden's family....I have placed a child in the lap of Jesus...there is no greater pain to endure on this earth.

Father, I lift up this heartbroken family to you....Lord, pour out your peace and comfort on them. Father, you also know the pain of losing a child so I just pray that you would give them the strength to carry on. Father, I lift up the Higgins' to you tonight and ask that you would use them in a mighty way, help them to minister to this family through their loss.

Brent & Deanna - I have also experienced (my youngest son is a cancer survivor) being in a hospital and seeing other families experience the pain of losing a child while your child is on the long path to recovery. My heart goes out to you tonight as well. I am lifting up little Jayden's family and yours as well tonight through the loss of this precious little one. A verse that comforted me during the loss of my other son is Matthew 18:2 "And Jesus called a little child unto him and set him in the midst of them..." What a sense of comfort to know that Jesus Christ Himself is holding little Jayden tonight.

QUERIDA FAMILIA DE BJ, ESTAMOS MUY TRISTE POR LA PARTIDA DE NUESTRO AMIGO Y COLABORADOR BJ. ORAMOS PARA QUE DIOS CONFORTE SUS CORAZONES Y ESTAMOS SEGUROS QUE EN LA ETERNIDAD NOS ENCONTRAREMOS CON BJ. QUE DIOS LES DE LA FORTALEZA. GRACIAS POR PRESTARNOS A SU HIJO PARA GANAR ALMAS EN EL PERU, ME SIENTO MUY ORGULLOSO DE HABER TRABAJADO CERCA A EL. EL YA DESCANZA EN LOS BRAZOS DE SU SEÑOR PARA LA ETERNIDAD.
APOCALIPSIS 14:13 NOS DICE QUE EL YA DESCANZA PERO SUS OBRAS CONTINUAN Y LAS OBRAS DE BJ. EN EL PERU SEGUIRAN DANDO SUS FRUTOS PARA LA GLORIA DEL SEÑOR.

To Jayden's Family:
It saddens me to hear of this. May God bring the peace of knowing that Jayden is in His arms now. You will be in my prayers.

To the Higgins;
We hold a prayer/bible study group at MHS every Wednesday morning. It is student led. Today's Lesson was done by a friend of mine named Bryce Newton. His lesson was on trials and tribulations in our lives.
These are the verses we studied.
James 1:2-4
Revelation 3:10
1 Peter 1:3-7
Deuteronomy 8:1-5
I could not here this lesson without thinking about you all. Please pass these verses to Jayden's family as well, as they apply to them to. I will pray for you all and BJ continuously tonight. Praise God his Surgery went well.

In Christ

To Jayden's family,

My prayers are with you. I hope this poem will bring you peace. I know it did for me.

Baby Tears

We cried tears when we learned that a child would be,

that our God had allowed you to quicken in me.

We cried tears with our loved ones as they shared our joy,

and we thought about names for a girl or a boy.

I cried tears as I thought of the things we would do,

all the things that your Daddy would pass on to you.

And I cried as I thought of each inch you had grown,

as I pondered the day that you'd make yourself known.

Then to think of the world you must enter brought fears,

once again little loved one your Mother cried tears.

Something's wrong, I can tell --- once again there are tears,

and I'll not get the chance of your love through the years.

Oh the ache and the sorrow and all of the pain,

and again, yes again my tears fall like rain.

Then His peace comes to me as I think of you there,

gently rocking with Father in His favorite chair.

Your sweet little fingers clenched tight in His palm,

and His Son softly singing to help you keep calm.

Our God knew your days before you came to be,

and He knew little one you would not stay with me,

so I cry, but I know that when this life is done,

I will greet and embrace you my sweet little one.

There's a time to be born and a time to die,

and the joy and the sorrow both make us cry!

by Conni Johnson

Now that Jayden is in his Father's arms. And He has loved him with an everlasting love. A love deeper than we can fathom.

Because He lives, we can face tomorrow! Our hearts go out to Jayden's family. We pray for peace and God's comfort for them. We don't understand why but we do know that God has a perfect plan for all of us. May the Higgins family minister to Jayden's family with the love of God so they will know how much our Lord loves them too. So glad that BJ is out of surgery and we will continue to pray for each step forward and hope that we have no more setbacks. We are ready for this young man to be on the road to a complete recovery. He has fought a good fight and he has so much more work to do for the Lord. Have a good night's rest, you must be exhausted. Take care

We are praying for comfort and guidance for little Jayden's parents. Corrie and Ellie, especially, were praying earnestly for little jayden. They were so dismayed to hear he was no longer on this earth. They knew he is with Jesus, but the sadness of such a little one suffering was hard for them to understand.

Reading many of the postings on this blogsite really helped them mentally and spiritually process where Jayden is, how he is feeling, how Jesus is carrying him and cuddling him and playing with him, and how Jayden will be forever cherished.

If only we could all think about ourselves this way each day, what an impact that would have in the way we treat others, and how we love our Lord.

It will be a thing of beauty to realize all the lives, all the souls, that have and will still be touched through the openness with which you are sharing this challenge in your lives.

Remember, your family is a thing of beauty in the eyes of God because of your devotion, obedience and faithfulness.

May you all have an unbelievably restful night.

In Him who cherishes each of us so very much,

Jamie

To Jayden's family, We hurt with you as you go through this tender time. Know that you have a whole new "family" praying for you through www.prayforbj.com .

Father, I ask You to comfort this family with Your perfect peace and draw them closer to you during these most draining days. Surround them with hands and feet to meet their every need and even some of their special wants just like the loving Father that you are. Remind them of Your great love and incredibly tender care for their precious son Jayden--who is even more precious to You. Rock him gently, Jesus, and hold him ever so closely until his family can join him,

in the holy and loving name of Jesus Christ,

Amen

Lord,
we pray for Jayden's family. Comfort them in their sorrow, let them know your presence, let them know and trust that Jayden is safe in your arm's. Forgive any bitterness they may have towards you for this hurt, for this pain. Lord, walk beside them, hold them up, even cary them through this. Lord, I know what it's like to loose buddies, even family... but a son... a child... I can't fathom. Lord, hear our prayers, bring comfort in the shadow of death.

May the family of little Jayden be comforted.
