BJ continues to be stable!!! Remember...a boring day is a good day! His SAT's are in the 90's, his blood gases have been pretty good. He got his hair washed today, the first time in 33 days (Thanks nurse Deb!!!). Boy is mom happy! He still isn't "making water." Please Lord, let him "rain."

Linda R. that is an incredible offer...how would we ship it?

I appreciate each of your kind suggestions.

We are trying to pull a couple of pictures together so you can get a feel for what he is going through.

Thanks for your continued prayer support!

Beej's dad

please leave name, city, state or country if you would.

No rain jokes. . .please, tempting as they may be. Let's allow BJ a LITTLE dignity (speaking as the mother of a teenage son myself). After all, we don't want to see him turn pink when he reads these. . . (very big grin!)

We're praying for a very boring night for all of you--thanks so much for helping direct our prayers. It's been amazing how the Holy Spirit has worked in and around and through this prayforbj community.

Blessings once again,

Brent-I continue to pray and have a group of people in Wickenburg AZ praying.
To clarify the current medical status-BJ is off ECMO correct?, but requiring ventilator support, dialysis, and is being kept in a medically-induced coma. And, the diagnosis which triggered everything is still uncertian?
As a physician, I am trying to make sense of it(medically), as I'm sure you and Deanna are.
The team at St V's is great. I'm glad he is there.
You have an amazing outpouring of people interceding on BJ's behalf.
My prayer is that God will continue to comfort you on your darkest moments and give you His hope to continue to hang on to.

Just ordered our "pink" t-shirts and we will wear those on October 1 in addition to sending b-day cards. Ryan & Arin are in 5th & 8th grade now and that sounds like a great class project...their classes have already been praying for BJ so sending a b-day card would make it even more personal for the students.

Thanks again for the updates and the specific needs for BJ. We'll be anxiously checing the site for updates throughout the weekend.

I am overwhelmed beyond words by the outpouring of prayer from around the world for BJ. God is so good. BJ I share your heart for the mission field. I just got back last Saturday from an Indian reservation in South Dakota. I am so convicted by your fearless desire to share Jesus with everyone you meet and I pray for the same fire to be set in me. Even now you are sharing Jesus though not by words but by your actinos in life. God bless you one and all. Praying for you BJ!

"I am mindful of you always in my prayers, continually praying unto God the Father in the name of his Holy Child, Jesus, that he, through his infinite goodness and grace, will keep you through the endurance of faith on his name to the end" from Moroni (book of Mormon)

BJ, my family is praying for you (that your body may work good), also our prayers to your family and all the wonderful doctors and nurses that are helping you to get better.

Praying and trusting God for the kidney's to kick in and do their job.

I still remember the day that we were able to wash our son's hair for the first time after 2 month's. What a special day! I was washing him and the nurse just laughed and said to me "he hasn't been out playing in the dirt...we just need to help him feel fresh!" We all looked at eachother and laughed...he was clean though!
Have a blessed night!

My name is Thomas. Kristin Dutt is my little sister. She was on the Peru trip with BJ this summer. From her sadness, I came to begin reading about BJ.

I must say that there are truly few times in our lives where we get to truly realize the prescence of God around us. Although he is always there, we always seem to be focused on things here on earth that may not be so important; be it work, money, or my favorite, future planning. It is times like these that we really understand what is important. Our loved ones are the most precious things that we have, and trusting God is the most productive thing that we can do in life. Now I have never met BJ, but I truly believe that BJ's terrible ordeal has had a greater purpose. Over the past few weeks I have read inspiring words from people all over the globe. God has his plan, and although it is difficult I believe that BJ has made an impact on people around the world; an opportunity that many of us will never have no matter how hard we teach, preach, or pray. I pray for and commend your family for your strength and ability to spread God's love through your time of trial.

"There are some things
we do not know
if they have rhyme or reason
sometimes they last for a day
sometimes for a season
It is not for us to know
what the end shall be
in the end we must remember
it is up to HE.
It is funny how we try to give
everything we can to he
in the end, who is blessed
is none other than we
Though I have never met him
there are several things I know
God has a purpose for him
and many love him so.
I hope these words
may bring a smile to your face
as BJ's trial has indeed
made the world better place."

Hooray for the boring, clean day!

We continue to lift BJ & the family up...nearly constantly! His name comes up so very often...our God is so good to us all the time. Amazing that He created the world with a word, is sovereignly in control of so many things (with His feet up...in ease) and He desires a personal relationship with each one of us!!!

We will specifically pray for his kidneys, lungs, and a peaceful night of rest for all of you.

Can't wait to get our shirts!

God has continued to amaze me through this situation. How you all stay so strong and focused eludes me. Every time I talk to my mom on the phone she asks me, "Have you read about BJ today?" Each day we are ministered to by these events. Praise Christ in heaven for His mercy. Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, IN is praying for all of you.

p.s. Lexington, KY also has prayers lifting to heaven for BJ!
