BJ is on a new air mattress (Lisa R.), designed to help with his bedsores. His Sat's are in the 90's, and the support settings have been turned down a bit. We give all Glory and Praise to Christ our Savior for what he has afforded BJ today. He has fought hard, and his numbers didn't waiver during invasive procedures. Nurse Diana said, "I want to cry cause he did really good!"

The Prayers from around the world have been heard in the Throneroom, and God is in control. Our rejoicing is clearly tempered with sorrow in the loss of Jayden, and the pain his family is suffering. We know that God has a plan for them, and will love them and comfort them through this.

Tomorrow morning (probably 10ish) he will have a catheter surgically added to his upper chest for dialysis to begin again.

We pray for a restful night after a tough day for him. We pray for no more complications, ie. clotting, infections, bleeding, continued renal failure. But we are tremendously grateful for a victorious day. With the canulas out, he has a better chance of healing.

Your prayer support has blessed our hearts...Thank you.

Glad to hear about the air mattress! Hopefully, it will allow Beej's body to heal quickly on the outside... We'll be praying tomorrow at 10ish that the insertion of the new catheter will go well.

Hope that you all have a restful night. Today has probably exhausted you!

I had the incredible honor of praying side by side with Walker Moore tonight for B.J. at our Community Group.
Also, Wright Christian Academy in Tulsa, OK is praying for BJ daily in their Bible class (my daughter's class)
Here is another prayer for you tonight:
Lord Jesus, you are in your throne room and you do hear our prayers and the cry of our hearts for this brother. Father God, touch Beej in a mighty way that would bring ultimate glory to you. Lord Jesus, by your precious blood and the stripes you bore for our behalf, we ask that you pour it over BJ right now. Father-give him a restful and healing night. In the name of Jesus,
Amen

Brent, Deanna, Lauren and Whitney,

We were so excited to hear how each procedure seemed to go the very best it could have gone!

Hopefully BJ will sleep like a baby on his new air mattress!

We're so sorry to hear about Jayden. We wrote something in response to your message about him.

In our class tonight at NBC, it was interesting to hear from a few different people how so much of their day is connected to your messages. Like us, they check as often as possible for any update. There was a universal sense of constant urgency, so that whenever someone is gone from home for more than an hour or two, they feel eager to get back to the computer and check in.

Maybe that's a little wierd to you guys, but it might just give you a little insight to how this global "fisherman's net" has been woven and continues to grow. Imagine this net being used by the Great Fisherman to catch a mighty load of fish in the future! Pretty Awesome!

Matthew 4:19 "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."

We are so thankful and grateful to be able to participate in this great assembly of loving and pleading believers.

Praying tonight for your rest and BJ's.

In Him,

Jamie

Thank you so much for continuing to keep us updated and giving us such specific things to pray for. We continue to "pray without ceasing" for BJ's healing and for wisdom beyond human understanding for the doctors and all who attend him.

Please let Jayden's family know we pray for them and hurt with them. When I lost my first son in stillbirth 23 years ago this month, the Lord had already given me a verse which became a promise for that son and a charge to me for raising my future children: "I would that you were wise in what is good and innocent in what is evil."

Whenever I hear of another child or baby who goes home to heaven, I picture my son among the welcoming crowd gaining a new friend and taking him around heaven's streets to make him feel welcome. And oh, the joy and comfort of knowing we shall be reunited some day!

I pray God will wrap His "arms" around this grieving family and be their comfort and peace.

"Praise be to the God and Father...who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." II Cor. 1:3-4

Dear Higgins Family, We are so thankful for the awesome, incredible, amazing way that God once again showed Himself strong on behalf of BJ today. He did the same for Jayden, of course--it's just that the results appear different from our perspective. We will continue praying for both families.

As I rest tonight, I will remember BJ on his brand new mattress and continue lifting up his needs. Behold, God is doing a new thing--wouldn't He love it if every single doctor, nurse, RT, etc. was just blown out by how amazingly He is working in BJ's life?! Come to think of it (from the various postings I've read), looks like a good number already are! Thank you, St. Vincent's people (medical and otherwise) who read these postings--you have such an important work there. Thanks for being there (something few of us posting can do).

God, You truly are indescribable, unexplainable. We pray that You will continue to work in BJ's body, in his spirit, in his life in such a way as to bring glory to none other than Yourself. We KNOW BJ is all about that--giving glory to you. Thank you for choosing him for this tremendous sacrifice of praise. God, let his body functions continue and improve. Keep him safe during the procedure tomorrow, and don't allow the Enemy to have so much as a hangnail-hold anywhere near this guy. He belongs to You--as do we, who pray in your name,

Amen.

I am praying much for each of you as you have truly put your individual lives on hold to deal with this unexpected event that will change the life of your family forever. You are displaying the strength of a family built solidly on Jesus Christ!! He is being exalted through you and He will continue to do so in all the years to follow! He has GREAT THINGS in store for B.J. ~ He has already used his life in tremendous ways, and will continue to do so, even with greater fervor. Many have and will continue to come to know Christ through BJ's witness - before his illness, through his illness, and once he is well and able to do the thing he loves most . . . share Jesus with others. It's all amazing!!

Good night Brent & Deanna,

What a long day! So thankful that the procedures went well for BJ and also heartbroken about Jayden.
I know when we were at Riley Hosp. with Kim both times, we felt guilty at times that she had a good outcome while other children did not. I guess it is just having faith that God is in control and has a plan, though we may not understand it. It is hard to comprehend sometimes. We will definitely keep Jayden's family in our prayers for days to come. Of course we are praying without ceasing for the upcoming procedures for BJ and his continued recovery. We are continuing to lift you, Deanna and the girls up for your continued strength, health and peace. I am glad BJ is finally on an appropriate bed, that was worrying me! Larry can testify to that! (It is the home care nurse in me).
Hope you have a restful night and that tomorrow goes well. Take care.

Love, Nancy

I just found this site on the mercyme web site. I have read all of your postings, and nearly drowned in tears. As Warren Barfield sings, and I think I speak for many on this-"My heart goes out to you". May god be with you and BJ, also with Jayden's parents. It is so tragic when little ones go so early. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and I will continue to monitor how BJ is doing.

I will continue to seek God's face for BJ's healing and for strength and comfort for you all. God is amazing and we constantly get to see Him working for His people.
