After 32 days in the hospital, BJ is finally off of his back and on his stomach. It takes a lot of work to get him turned over with lines and tubes in so many places, but it is done. They will repeat this process twice a day if he tolerates it.
The skin care team and plastic surgeon came in to view his back and make recommendations for the future. He has some significant healing to do in that arena.
One of the Dr.s who just came on shift came in and said "Wow, Sat's at 98? Phenomenal!"
The Lord continues to answer prayer...his kidneys are starting to "leak" a little! Lets pray for for an increase, an abundance of the same.

As look on this trial, i realize that the significance of BJ's state is not measured physically but spiritually. I dont know BJ niether do know most of the family, but i see the family of BJ; they are the ones who have been praying faithfully with a concerned heart of love. Today I had the opportunity to read part of your journal that your dad posted. I have to tell you that after reading that journal I just set there and wept. Our God is amazing in that he answers even our smallest requests and I want to tell you thanks because he used you. You encourage and inspire me to be godly and remind me what our perspective of life should be...an eternal perspective. How I long to have that love for Jesus like you do!
I have to share a little story about David, the young man in Peru you gave the guitar to. Over Christmas my boyfriend Bryan and I had the opportunity to spend several weeks in Peru and work with Pastor Tito. We also had the privilege of working with David, a godly young man who loves the Lord and who loves music. After coming back to Oklahoma Bryan and I talked about how we wish we could get David a guitar and send it to him. After reading your journal today I wept because I saw how God had answered that desire through your giving heart. You gave David a guitar. Knowing this young man David, I know that your gift of that guitar will be used to draw people to Christ and to lead others to worship our Saviour.
I pray peace for your family tonight and for healing for your precious body. In HIS arms HE is holding you and sustaining you. He is using you in MIGHTY ways. Thank you BJ for your love for Jesus and challenging me to love Him the same.
