Beej's blood pressure has stabilized with medication. We are awaiting results of an ultrasound and an x-ray. He has started meds for a bacterial infection (not actually found yet), and a new anti-fungal med. (results still not firmly positive or negative). His ECMO pump had to be turned back up as his oxygen saturation percentage had decreased overnight. His heart rate is elevated as well.

They have stopped giving him 2 of the sedation meds as his blood pressure was immediately dropping when administered. However, they will use them if he gets too antsy, and moves too much. He continues to fight, and we are proud of him for this.

We appreciate your prayers so very much,

Beej'dad

Brent & Deanna, God is with you on this roller coaster ride you are on. He is holding you in His arms, as He is holding BJ. There is so much praying going up to God, it is bringing glory to Him. I pray for His will to be done, and His plan to work out. I know we can't see what He has in mind, but we can see all of the people praying in one accord, together as God has planned. Please keep up your strength, and know that God is right there with you, working miracles minute by minute. In Christ's Love, Charlene Stovall

My immediate reaction is just bewilderment in how these things are coming and going. They seem either unpredictable or unexpected despite the "normalcy" of some of the proceedures.
I am completely resting all of these things in God's hands knowing that he has planned for each of them to happen. With most of the initial shock gone, my concern for BJ reaches out to God for endurance for BJ and for all of you around BJ day-in and day-out.

In Love,
Charissa

Still praying for BJ to stablize even further and to be able to be weaned from the ecmo. We started co-op today and it was sad that he couldn't be a part of it. We missed him. Praying for your continued stamina and strength through all this. We miss you guys.
Love, Nancy

Lord, we lift BJ higher each and every day ... and he holds us higher to you as well. May our prayers for him and his family serve as a testiment to your purpose for BJ. Through You and You alone can we find hope, strength and peace.

Deanna and family,
Know that your family in Christ is asking God's blessings on BJ and his family. “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint”. Isaiah 40:31.

BJ and family you are in my prayers. May you all continue to know that our God reigns and sees and knows the big picture. May His grace and peace be ministered into your hearts and souls deeply.
with love
